2010 saw one of the most wide-open seasons in Lambert Trophy history. While today voting takes place for a champion only, previously schools were ranked by each voter. After the rankings were tallied, points were assigned to each rank and the school with the highest points won the Lambert Trophy.

Connecticut - 150 points
West Virginia - 148 points
Pittsburgh - 3rd place
Navy - 4th place
